Cookie Policy
The shortest cookie policy you'll read this year, because Husk doesn't set any.
Last updated .
The widget itself
The Husk chat widget on your site sets zero cookies. No session cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting. We use a single localStoragekey on the visitor's own browser to remember the open/closed state of the chat panel. That value never leaves the browser.
The marketing site (huskchat.com)
Our own marketing site does not use third-party tracking cookies either. We use server-side analytics that operate on aggregate, anonymous request logs. No GA, no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, no remarketing.
The dashboard (logged-in users)
When you sign in to Husk to view your data, we set one first-party, HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax session cookie so we know it's you on the next request. Without it, you can't log in. It's not used for tracking and it's deleted on logout. This cookie is strictly necessary under GDPR and therefore does not require consent.
Your choices
- Block all cookies in your browser. The widget will still work; the dashboard will not.
- Use private/incognito mode. Everything still works for the duration of the session.
Changes
If we ever introduce a tracking cookie, we'll add a consent banner and update this page before any cookie is set.
